I have a strong desire to build, in both the digital and physical worlds. The pleasure I derive from bringing projects to fruition in the physical world distills down to craftsmanship and flow. To focus entirely on burnishing a leather edge or riveting perfectly is to let all else fall away, and be absorbed in the act of creation.

Rather than creation itself, my draw to projects in the digital world is discovering truth. My mind often races gleefully at the prospect of merging disparate data sets to glean new insights and view problems from unique angles.
